  • No recycling bins at your residential building? Here鈥檚 what you can do:

    • If your residential building has 1-4 dwelling units, you can request blue bins for it directly at

    • If your building has 5 or more dwelling units, it is in violation of the city recycling ordinance. You can request an inspection through 311 (It can be done anonymously too, so your landlord will never know.)

  • No recycling bins at your place of employment or a business you frequent? It is also in violation of the city recycling ordinance. You can request an inspection for it through 311 . (It can be done anonymously too, so it can鈥檛 be traced back to you.)
